Rich Grosch
Richard Grosch is a successful and active business owner in the community of Ocean Beach and current Executive Vice President of Educational Collaboration for the San Diego Community College District Board of Trustees.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Masters of Arts in Human Behavior and Leadership, Rich has held various positions as Teacher, Assistant Principal, Coach, Alumni Director, and Chairman of local schools, colleges and community boards. In his spare time Rich likes to restore old homes and cars, with his most recent project being the restoration of a 1949 Desoto Woodie Station Wagon.
Rich is deeply committed to helping find non-punitive solutions in our criminal justice system. He is attracted to the fact that the Restorative Justice Mediation Program is dedicated to finding resolution for the victim and the perpetrator and providing an agreeable solution other than jail. He believes that programs and training exist within the San Diego Community College system to achieve positive outcomes and provide a roadmap for future success. Rich’s hope is that in the years to come RJMP will play a pivotal role in restoring lives and achieving positive results for those we serve.
