Board Member
Jeffrey Pace
Jeffrey Pace is a native of Houston, Texas. He embarked his nearly 35-year career in law enforcement after completing his enlistment in the United States Marine Corps in 1985.
During his law enforcement career, Jeff has worked a host of assignments, but mostly cherishes his assignments where he partnered with the community. His assignments include Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT), Juvenile Administration Unit, Homeless Outreach Team (HOT), and Internal Affairs, where he introduced mediation as a resolution in the complaint process.
Jeff has long employed the restorative model in his work, believing that the process begins “when the handcuffs go on.” Jeff is currently assigned to Community Relations, where he is partnering with the community to introduce measures for sustainable police reform.
Jeff holds a BA of Science in Public Administration from National University. He is a certified mediator through the California Bar Association.
He serves as a Board member for Community Through Hope, a Chula Vista non-profit which works to address food insecurity and homelessness. He is an active member of his church, The Anchor Church San Diego.
In his free time, he can be found playing golf, exercising, or working on DIY projects.
